Marie Thomas' profession as an accomplished photographer materialized from an accidental interest. At the age of 14, a random middle school course emerged into an profession career that spans over 30 years. Determined to follow her heart in the arts as a photographer, ultimately led her in directions she could once only imagined. Her skill and keen photographer's eye granted her the opportunity to work with notables such as Tyra Banks, Toni Braxton, Antonio LA Reid, Jermaine Dupri, Monica, Tionne "T-Boz Watkins, Sean Combs, and Kat Williams.
Her work has been seen in Ebony, Essence, Upscale, Black Enterprise, Atlanta Magazine, CNN.com, Seventeen.com, Cosmopolitan.com. Thomas, a native of Los Angeles, now resides in Atlanta, Georgia.
